Simaddons
Flight Simmers who are serious about flying in Canada will probably become familiar with Simaddons. Simaddons appears to be a Swiss developer who has developed a specialty in making Canadian scenery.
Many of the major airports, as well as a number of minor ones can be found in Simaddons catalog. Of particular interest to some, would be their scenery for Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Edmonton, Kelona, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Ottawa.
They have been around for a while, and some of these sceneries are getting pretty long in the tooth and really cannot compare with some of the more recent sceneries being released, such as Fly Tampa's Montreal and Toronto, or FS Dreamteam's Vancouver. On the other hand they offer sceneries which are not found elsewhere and are a step above the typical freeware scenery.
I would rate the quality of their scenery as being at about the same level as early Imaginesim: good but not great.
One of the major downsides of purchasing scenery from Simaddon is that one must purchase the Halifax scenery, as it contains items used in other Simaddon scenery. This never bothered me, because I have a lot of Canadian scenery, and Halifax is a major airport in Canada. It also provides an excuse for travelling to the maritime provinces and is a good stop over for GA Atlantic crossings. If one is going to do an Atlantic crossing in anything other than a tubeliner, Halifax is a good place to stop.
Simaddon scenery can only be purchased directly from them. They do not sell on Simmarket or any of the other third party vendors. They do take Paypal. After payment is made, they will send you an e-mail with a download link as well as a code to open the installer.
